WE SMILE⎟ Thank You for Joining our Initiative and Participating in the Campaign
We are Very Pleased that the Campaign Resonated with your Company and that You Have Embraced this Idea. With the Ideas and Recommendations Provided on this Page, We Aim to Help You Make the most of this Endeavor and Achieve a Lasting Effect.
HOW TO ENGAGE EMPLOYEES?⎟the Goal is to Shape Employee Attitudes
How to Engage Employees?
EXPLAIN
We Recommend Informing Employees about this Immediately after Joining the Campaign.
Message to Employees (some Ideas):
- “We joined this positive initiative to stay positive after summer.”
- “We want to encourage customers to be more positive.”
- “We want our employees to feel more confident in customer interactions, regardless of the customer.”
- Prepare employees to respond cheerfully if a customer is negative about the campaign and says, for example:
- “Why did you suddenly start smiling now?”
(One could, for example, reply: “We like it… you should try it too! :)”) - “But you don’t smile!”
(For example, reply: “You know, it’s quite an art, I’m still learning :)”)
- “Why did you suddenly start smiling now?”
DISCUSS
Involve Employees in Discussions During the Campaign Months, Such as Meetings, Roundtables, Training Sessions.
for Discussion with Employees (some Ideas):
- “What do you think, how does a smile affect the customer?”
- “How does smiling at a customer affect you personally?”
- “Please observe” and see how the customer responds when you smile at them? (Do they smile back? Keep a small statistic.)
- “Try to see how your own well-being is when you still smile at a non-smiling and perhaps even arrogant customer?”
- “What do you think, is keep-smiling necessary?” (the correct answer is no :).)
- “Why is it important to smile at the customer precisely at the beginning of the interaction?”
ENCOURAGE
As a Leader, Maintain a Positive Atmosphere.
What to Do (some Ideas):
- As a leader, be positive yourself and smile at your colleague.
- Lead by example in customer interactions, when such interactions occur.
- Occasionally ask specifically, how are things going?
- Acknowledge, when you see it being implemented.
- Instead of saying “hop, hop… let’s smile, let’s smile!” rather just smile yourself and don’t create discomfort.
HOW TO FEATURE?⎟Amplify the Positive Message and Link it to your Brand
How to Integrate the Campaign into your Company’s Marketing Message?
WEBSITE
After joining the campaign, place the campaign badge on your company’s website homepage. For example, in the header or footer section.
Choose the appropriate campaign badges from below, or if desired, you can place a couple of different ones side-by-side (e.g., with different sizes) or design your own badges according to campaign rules and use them.
Please add a link to the campaign badge image (in the background) that leads to the page explaining the essence and benefits of smiling https://trendline.ee/naeratus
This page contains a positive message about the value and benefits of smiling for all parties.
The badge does not need to be removed after November if this message continues to align with your vision. In November, we will simply measure. We smile at customers consistently 🙂
Trendline will also add participant logos and active links to its page to increase traffic to your websites.
SOCIAL MEDIA
You are free to use the campaign message “We smile!” and campaign badges in your marketing messages to make them more positive and show your customers that you are diligently investing in implementing high-level customer service.
Please tag the campaign organizer Trendline Analytics on social media.
Trendline will also add appreciative references to campaign participants in its social media posts and tag your company to increase web traffic to your environments.
BLOG POSTS
If your company’s website has a blog, advice page, or news section, use this section to convey the campaign message. In the blog post, link actively to the campaign organizer Trendline.
For example, here are some ideas for articles and short stories to use:
- Why is striving for top-notch customer service important to us?
- Why are we participating in this campaign? (Goal: to strengthen customer service level)?
- Why do we believe a smile is so important?
- We want our customer to feel good.
- We want to know what our customer thinks. We are interested.
- Our wish is for our employees to feel good. (Useful information and reference for job seekers).
- We recognize good service providers who are excellent in the eyes of both colleagues and customers.
- Feel free to use the quotes and ideas provided on our page: https://trendline.ee/naeratus

CAMPAIGN BADGES⎟Use Whichever Ones You Prefer
CAMPAIGN BADGES (Electronic Badge, Stickers, and Pins)
Campaign participants are free to use the electronic campaign badges provided here (either one or more) in as many channels as they wish. Click on the image, and a full-size image will open in a new window; save it to your computer from there. Campaign participants may also keep the badge in their environments after November (2025) if they continue to contribute to the campaign’s objective. In November, we will simply measure. The badges are designed without a year, so it doesn’t feel strange, for example, that you smiled in 2015 but not in 2025. 🙂 For example, there’s no point boasting today if your weight was in top shape 10 years ago. 🙂 Keep it as long as it serves as your outward message and a clear objective to remind both customers and employees.
The badges below are created by Trendline, and we are continuously adding more. If you have a specific request regarding color scheme, font, or design, feel free to submit your suggestion to us; we will certainly consider them. Variations of the badges created by us are permitted for all campaign participants to use.
You can also CREATE YOUR OWN campaign marketing elements (such as posters, social media post templates, audio or video clips, badges, T-shirts, stickers, placards, etc.) with your marketing department for your environments and company, so that the design precisely matches your visual identity and branding, for example, by adding your LOGO. In such a case, the badge must include, among other things, three main campaign phrases: “We smile!”, “You smile too!” and in small print “naeratame.ee”. Feel free to use the campaign message and fresh idea.
